| The
Monterey platform/day bed is constructed out of 100% kiln dried hardwood.
All of the wood is finishes using our six step finishing process. The
Monterey daybed, like most daybeds, doesn't use boxsprings.
There are 14 wooden slats placed rail to rail to support the standard twin
size mattress or futon mattress.
Each slat is 3/4 in thick.
